Mitsubishi EVO X FQ-400

295 HP, 366 Nm, and 5,4 sec from 0-100 Km/h (or 0-60 mph). That are the facts of the Mitsubishi EVO X. Great facts for a great platform. But that's not enough. Mitsubishi pops out an enhanced version of the EVO X. FQ-400 is called the new baby of Mitsubishis EVO lineup and if we would talk about minor enhancements we would lie.

 

The Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 comes with 100 PS more than the stock model. With 409 PS the 2.0l engine was really pushed for more. A new turbocharger, a modified injection and improved ECU maps are some of the engine changes to mention. Watch also the pictures. The new bodykit gives the FQ-400 a more agressive look and that's good. Why? Because the FQ-400 plays in higher leagues now. 3,8 secs 0-100 Km/h places this baby near the Mercedes SLR McLaren and refering to www.auto-news.de is faster than a Porsche 911 turbo or an Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro.

 

So what's the bad news? The bad news is that this EVO X will be released only in Great Britain at first. An introduction in Germany is not on Mitsubishis plans (why do you do this to me). The estimate price will be 55.000 €.
