ahm, just to confuse me a little more. Are right hand drives really illegal in the USA? I mean all the R32's, R33's and R34's are right hand, and I know nobody who would do a left hand conversion of a skyline???

I'm totally confused. I know for sure that in California a friend of mine shoot some pics of a tuning bbq where also skylines have been. I just have look for the pics but I'm sure they have license plates on which means to me that they are street legal.
I know from the superstreet forums that there are laws depending on the state where you live but I didn't know that rhd are completely forbidden.

I have friends that have rhd cars registered legaly. I'll have to throw some pics of them when I get the chance to get them to my house. I could be wrong if I said that it was nothing to register, but I would be sticking my foot in my mouth. So, I'll wait to post and get more accurate info.

Thats a good info. Turboz32 said the same. They are illegal but there are always ways to register them legal. I read an article about a Skyline on the latest importtuner mag. They said they get the parts from Japan, but not as a complete car but more than a build kit, so you have to build your car yourself. The blue R34 on the importtuner March 2009 issue is not really a Nissan r34 skyline but more a Kaizo one. I'll try to post more info when I'm at home, but I think those infos are really usefull. While most of us think that rhd are not legit in USA we still wonder when we see them in movies or in mags.
Thanks s12rapido
